    Notes: (6-3 1/2, 210, 4.5) Redshirted in 1990. Was placed on academic probation midway through the '90 season. Played in 12 games and started four in '91. Caught 22 passes for 309 yards and five scores. Had his most productive receiving year in '92 when he often lined up as a wingback in the slot. Caught 76-1,060-8, with 339 of those yards coming on runs after the catch, and won All-Big Eight honors. Caught 33-490-2 in '93, though he was kicked out of the Miami (Fla.) game for fighting and was suspended for the Iowa State game. Team's leading pass catcher in '94. Caught 36-689-4, including 7-157 vs. Michigan, when he made the catch of the year on Kordell Stewart's 64-yard "Hail Mary% pass with no time left on the clock. Was named to first-team, All Big-Eight, although he was playing hurt almost the entire season.

    Positives: Great size and build. Large hands and long arms. Very strong hands and arms. Martial-arts expert (Kung Fu) who overpowers the jam. Excellent athlete. Physical receiver who fights off defenders and really competes for the ball in traffic. Very strong runner. Breaks tackles after the catch. Can pluck the ball. Has exceptional balance and body control. Can jump and adjust to the ball. Has very good speed. Tremendous blocker who really goes after people. May be the best and most physical blocking wide receiver in college football.

    Negatives: Comes across as being very confident and self-assured. Will try and run before he secures the ball. Drops too many passes and does not have relaxed hands. Is not a polished route runner. Needs work on running routes and controlling his speed. Lacks a great grasp of the passing game. Can be immature and hot-tempered. Has not always been a Boy Scout.
